The first newborn incubator with integrated Masimo Rainbow SET, allowing doctors to monitor more parameters more easily, efficiently, and non-invasively. It comes with many optional features such as VAV, NIBP, integrated scale, 10.1" Color TFT Touch Side Display, etc.
Control Panel
The standard 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen color display provides ease of use and observation. The ergonomic display design, with its explanations and animations, facilitates quick and efficient use of the incubator.
Temperature Control
Clinicians can easily set the desired temperature using the Tende VAV touchscreen display using air or skin mode options. The infant skin temperature probe (Skin 1 and Skin 2) can be single-use (disposable) or reusable. If the set temperature exceeds the set value, the system provides visual and audible alerts. If the air temperature rises too high, the system automatically shuts off the heater and alerts clinicians with a visual and audible alarm.
Servo Humidification System
The vital humidity requirements of newborns are met quickly, effectively, and safely with minimal condensation thanks to Tende VAV's patented humidification system. The use of hot steam technology and the ability to completely remove the humidification system and sterilize it by autoclaving without using any tools, ensures unparalleled hygiene by preventing the growth of bacteria and mold in the incubator. Featuring one of the fastest humidification systems among neonatal intensive care incubators, Tende VAV can maintain a 95% humidity level for 24 hours, providing homogeneous humidification with its 2000 ml water reservoir.
Bed and Bed Angling (Trendelenburg)
The soft, biocompatible, waterproof, washable, and fire-resistant mattress is positioned on a bed tray with an X-ray cassette tray underneath. The mattress can be easily pulled out when the baby needs attention. It also has a safety device to prevent the baby from falling out when the mattress is pulled out.
The bed can be angled electronically from the control panel, effortlessly, easily, smoothly, and extremely safely. If an emergency response is needed for the baby, the "Emergency Descent" button on the Tende VAV control panel automatically lowers the bed to its flat position. During automatic descent, instead of struggling to lower the bed to its flat position, the user can simply open the canopy flaps or even pull the lowered bed out to begin necessary interventions immediately. This is another unique feature of the Tende VAV.
Trend Tracking
Clinicians can monitor parameters such as air and skin temperatures, humidity, oxygen, baby's weight, incubator heater power, NIBP values, graphically and numerically, over 2-hour, 8-hour, 1-day, and 7-day time periods.
Baby Carrier Mode (Air Curtain)
In situations where the baby needs to be taken outside, such as for breastfeeding, skin temperature measurement can be continued by selecting the "Baby Carrier" mode on the control panel. When the canopy cover and/or lids are opened, the "Air Curtain" is automatically activated, minimizing heat loss within the incubator. If the lids are left open, the system alerts users with an audible and visual alarm.
Baby-Specific Temperature and Humidity Values Algorithm (Recommendation)
With the algorithm, the device suggests the ambient temperature and humidity percentage that should be found according to the baby's gestational age (how many days old he is) and weight. If approved, the temperature and humidity values are automatically set according to these parameters.
360 Degree Rotating Drawers
Clinicians can monitor parameters such as air and skin temperatures, humidity, oxygen, baby's weight, incubator heater power, NIBP values, graphically and numerically, over 2-hour, 8-hour, 1-day, and 7-day time periods.
OPTIONAL HARDWARE OPTIONS
SERVO OXYGEN
Safety and precision are at the forefront of the Tende VAV servo oxygen system. One of the system's most important features is its extremely quiet operation, increasing noise levels by only a few dB.
SCALES
Tende VAV features a microprocessor-controlled, automatic self-testing system designed with the baby's safety and comfort in mind. Automatic taring is performed by lifting the baby for just a few seconds before removing it, and the system performs the weighing process once the baby is released. If the bed is inclined before weighing, the system automatically returns the bed to a flat position before weighing for more accurate results. The weighing process is illustrated in the animation on the Tende VAV control screen, and the steps are guided by visual and audible alerts.
TOUCH-SCREEN TFT LCD COLOR SIDE SCREEN
The Tende VAV can also be controlled and monitored via the 10.1-inch TFT LCD color touchscreen side display. The side display provides great convenience, especially for easily monitoring high-volume data. Therefore, the Tende VAV primarily displays Masimo Rainbow SET pulse oximetry and noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) data on the 10.1-inch screen.
With the “Easy Silence” feature of the side screen, the clinician can silence the alarm sound by showing their hand to the screen.
INCUBATOR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Clinicians can electronically adjust the incubator height using the raise and lower pedals located at the front and rear of the incubator for comfortable working.
With the help of a motor specially produced for Tende VAV, raising and lowering is done silently and without any vibration, without disturbing the baby.
PULSE OXIMETER (MASIMO RAINBOW SET)
The Tende VAV intensive care incubator's integrated pulse oximeter allows noninvasive measurement of pulse rate and oxygen saturation without drawing blood from the baby. Masimo Rainbow SET technology in the incubator also allows measurement of perfusion (PI) and pleth variability indices (PVI), hemoglobin (SpHb), methemoglobin (SpMet), and carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO).
Masimo has integrated Rainbow SET technology into intensive care neonatal incubators for the first time in the world.
NONINVASIVE BLOOD PRESSURE (NIBP)
The NIBP feature integrated into the side screen allows noninvasive measurement of the baby's blood pressure at predetermined intervals. Clinicians can activate audible and visual alarms by setting set values. Data can be viewed on the trend screen.
