Completed scans are stored in the Planmeca Romexis® software and immediately available for further use.

Planmeca Emerald S is part of our complete chairside CAD/CAM system – Planmeca FIT®. The system combines the entire restorative workflow from intraoral scanning to restoration design and manufacturing, allowing dental practices to produce dental restorations for their patients in a single visit.

While two different scanning tip sizes ensure Planmeca Emerald S always fits comfortably in the patient’s mouth, the scanner can also be used to detect carious lesions with a Planmeca Cariosity® transillumination tip. All tips are autoclavable and equipped with a memory chip that tracks the autoclave cycles and the number of times the tip has been used for scanning.
