FUNCTIONALITY AND PERFORMANCE
-CAPNOGRAPHY
It's a way to estimate CO₂ values in real time. These values are presented numerically through ETCO₂ and inspired CO₂, and through the CO₂ vs. Time graph. This mechanism uses Main Stream technology. This makes ventilatory support safer by estimating the heterogeneity of pulmonary ventilation distribution resulting from functional and structural changes in the respiratory system.
-PRVC
It combines the best of conventional volume- and pressure-controlled ventilation modes, delivering the operator-set volume at the lowest possible pressure. The function utilizes a free-flow waveform and feedback control of patient compliance and resistance.
-AIR LEAKAGE COMPENSATION
The PR5 Touch constantly monitors airway pressure drop. This technology, available in pressure modes, identifies air leaks and automatically adjusts airway pressures. It can compensate up to 50 L/min, making NIV comfortable and safe.
