The HemaPrep® is a small mechanical, semi-automated device for the standardised preparation of up to two peripheral blood smears.

The HemaPrep® makes producing consistently high-quality blood smears easy. With just a single action, the semi-automatic slider distributes the cells evenly on the smear. Thanks to the standardised and high-quality appearance of the cells, there is an improved morphological assessment. A reduction in smear quality variability between operators ensures reproducible results, especially if the HemaPrep® is used in the context of a standardised staining process.

Using the HemaPrep®, blood smears with consistently high quality can also be produced by less experienced technicians in a reproducible manner. Both the length and thickness of the blood smear can be adjusted by changing the speed of the smear preparation step.
