-Volumetric Capnography
It is a noninvasive test used to analyze the pattern of CO2 elimination as a function of expired volume. It allows estimation of the heterogeneity of pulmonary ventilation distribution resulting from functional and structural changes in the respiratory system.
-Stress Index
The stress index is calculated with minimal interference with the ventilatory cycle and results in an easily interpretable numerical value, providing a practical, safe, and effective analysis of the patient's ventilation. It is a useful measure of ventilatory mechanics for estimating the stress caused to the alveoli, whether by collapse or overdistension.
-PRVC
This is a dual-control ventilation mode. It combines the best of the assist/control volume and pressure ventilation modes, providing the volume set by the operator with the lowest possible inspiratory pressure. The flow waveform is free.
