The RAL SmearBox is a bundle of two top products: our hemoslider and the automated RAL Stainer, which uses the excellent MCDh reagents.

Blood film preparation and staining are simple procedures that can fail or be less effective than they could be. Our Blood Film Master Advanced eliminates this issue by providing a system of standardised, easy and safe staining. Proper blood film and stain preparation are rewarded later when blood films are analysed on automated digital morphology systems or viewed under the microscope. You set the stage for ensuring patients’ analysis results can be of the highest quality.

The RAL SmearBox concept addresses the three areas of blood film preparation that can cause issues. The Hemoslider produces consistently high quality films. Blood staining occurs in the automated RAL Stainer using methanol-free MCDh reagents. The resulting blood films are well spread, well stained and of excellent contrast and quality.
